Disappointed in Heavenly Heat Saunas – Cheaply Made, Poor Design, and Lacking Modern Features.
After our experience with a Heavenly Heat Saunas, we feel compelled to share the full story to help others make a more informed decision.
When I first came across Heavenly Heat Saunas, I was drawn in by the price point — they’re significantly cheaper than other infrared sauna brands. But unfortunately, you get what you pay for… and in this case, that’s not much.
1. Mass-Produced with Low-Quality Materials
Let’s start with the construction. In my experience, these saunas appear to be mass-produced using low-cost materials. The wood used is hemlock, which is one of the cheapest softwoods available. In my opinion, it lacks the durability and quality feel of more premium woods like cedar or basswood. Over time, I noticed signs of wear and degradation that made me question the longevity of the product.
2. Far Infrared Only – Missing Key Health Benefits
Heavenly Heat saunas utilize only far infrared heaters, which means you're missing out on the benefits of full-spectrum infrared therapy (near, mid, and far). Based on my understanding and experience, this limits the therapeutic benefits significantly compared to other brands that offer a more complete infrared experience.
3. Red Light Therapy – Poorly Designed Execution
The sauna I received had red light panels mounted outside the unit, requiring the light to pass through thick glass to reach the body. From everything I’ve learned about red light therapy, this setup likely diminishes the effectiveness of the treatment. It felt more like an afterthought than a serious feature.
4. No Remote or App Control
One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of any smart features. There’s no mobile app or remote control capability, which in today’s world is a big miss. The inability to preheat or control the sauna remotely made it feel outdated and less user-friendly than other models I’ve tried.
5. Aesthetics Leave a Lot to Be Desired
Visually, the design of the unit I received felt basic and outdated. Compared to other premium saunas on the market, this one lacked the clean lines, finishes, and modern aesthetic that make a sauna a visually appealing addition to a home.
6. Low Price = Low Quality
While the low price may attract some buyers, in my opinion, it reflects the overall quality of construction, features, and performance. After spending time with the product, I believe it’s cheaply made and not built to the standards I expect from a wellness investment.
Bottom Line
In my personal experience, Heavenly Heat Saunas did not meet the quality, performance, or design expectations I had. While they may appeal to buyers looking for the lowest-cost option, I would not recommend them to anyone seeking a durable, effective, and aesthetically pleasing infrared sauna.
